History of Terre de' Trinci

In the early 1990s, Terre de' Trinci forcefully met the quality challenge. Completely renovated in its structure and very philosophy of conceiving wine, and supported by such fine professionals and experts as oenologist Maurilio Chioccia, it has embarked on a large-scale project, individual and at the same time oriented towards the territory – a collective project from the vineyard right to wineglasses around the world. In line with this philosophy, Terre de' Trinci was the first winemaker in the terre del Sagrantino lands to apply UNI EN ISO 9002 quality system certification. Step by step, new and modern-style wines were born alongside the Sagrantino, bearing witness to the company’s ongoing development, to better express the ambition to wed tradition and innovation. Currently, 220,000 bottles of Sagrantino are produced, and total yearly output reaches 500,000 bottles. These numbers make Terre de' Trinci one of the leading players in the area.
